Bellafill is an injectable filler formulated with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres suspended in a smooth collagen gel. When injected into the skin, the body absorbs the collagen, and the microspheres remain in place. It works to continue to provide support after the collagen has been absorbed by the body and replaced with the patient’s own collagen.
Sculptra
Sculptra is an injectable treatment that gradually replaced lost collagen for a more youthful appearance. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) microparticles, which when absorbed by the body, stimulate collagen. This rebuilt collagen begins to gradually help to restore facial volume and smooth wrinkles and folds.
Radiesse
Radiesse is a dermal filler used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. It is made up of CaHA, or calcium hydroxylapatite, microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. When injected the CaHA particles integrate into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
