The Treatment
Prior to treatment, you may be asked to pre-condition your skin with the use of retinol or retinoic acid for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment.
The treatment will begin with the peel solution begin applied to the targeted treatment area. A stimulating retinolcrèmee is then applied after the superficial peel to enable deeper penetration of the retinol into the skin. This leads to an improvement in irregular pigmentation, toning and firming, and reduction of wrinkles. The final step of the peel is applying the calming crème. This restores the moisture balance of the skin and helps relieve any irritation.
Recovery
Following treatment, your skin may feel a little dry for a day or two. Skin will begin to peel 2-4 days after treatment and may last for up to five days. Final results will occur within six weeks, but improvement will begin to become apparent at the two-week mark. Be sure to avoid prolonged periods of sunlight after treatment, and wear sunscreen while outdoors, as this peel may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun.
