What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable treatment that gradually replaced lost collagen for a more youthful appearance. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) microparticles, which when absorbed by the body, stimulate collagen. This rebuilt collagen begins to gradually help to restore facial volume and smooth wrinkles and folds.

Who is a Candidate?

Sculptra Treatment
As with all of our injectable treatments, a consultation appointment is needed first to discuss each patient’s individual medical history and aesthetic goals. Dr. Bilbruck will create a personalized treatment plan to ensure optimal outcomes.
To begin treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the appropriate areas. Then, Sculptra will be skillfully injected using a fine needle to achieve the desired results. Treatment can take anywhere from 20-60 minutes to complete, depending on the number of injections.
Sculptra Results
Following Sculptra treatment, patients may experience mild redness, swelling, bruising, itching, and lumps in the injection site. To ensure the best possible outcomes, we advise patients to avoid strenuous activity and prolonged sunlight and heat exposure for 24 hours after treatment. Final results can be seen after six weeks, as it takes time for the body to produce collagen. Results can last up to two years.
