Who is a Candidate?
Adults 21 years and older who are interested in adding volume to their lips and/or smoothing out lip lines or lip wrinkles with minimal discomfort can often benefit from Volbella treatments. You should not receive this dermal filler if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection at the treatment site, or if you have a history of severe allergies. Volbella Treatment
Prior to your Volbella treatment, a consultation is needed to evaluate your facial structure and review your medical history. Dr. Bilbruck will take the time to create a customized filler treatment plan to help meet your individual goals.
To begin injection process, the skin will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied to ensure you are comfortable during injections. Volbella will then be injected into and around the lips using a small needle to add volume under the skin. Treatment can take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.

Volbella Results
Following Volbella treatment, patients may experience mild tenderness, swelling, redness, bruising, and itching at the injection site. You may return to your regular activities directly after treatment, such as work or school. However, we do advise that you avoid prolonged sun and heat exposure, alcohol consumption, and strenuous activity for 24 hours for optimal results. Volbella can give you a more youthful appearance to your lips for up to one year.
